Getting tested for STI's is critical to protecting you and your partner. Here's what you need to know about getting tested.

Where can I get tested?

On Campus: DuWell offers free, confidential STI testing for HIV, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia. No appointment is needed. You can also make an appointment to get tested at Duke Student Health, but these tests may not be free.

Off Campus: Outside of campus you can make an appointment to get tested at Durham County Department of Public Health at 414 E. Main Street, Durham, NC 27701 around 1.5 miles from East Campus. In addition, there's a Planned Parenthood around 3.0 miles from East Campus that offers STI testing at 105 Newsom St, Durham, NC 27704.

At home You can get at home tests, but these may not be as accurate as ones done by a medical provider
